Decking City
Introduction
Decking, commonly referred to as Decking City, is an island located in the North Atlantic Ocean smack dab in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle. The island is divided into four large districts, Heart, Spade, Diamond, and Clover. It is known as "The Hero Capital of the World" due to the high population of heroes that reside in its city. Much of Decking is a metropolitan area with some spots being protected for national parks or Stranger sanctuaries. Due to this, many opt for referring to the entire state as "Decking City" as it is the only city in the state and encompasses so much of the island.
History
Decking City became the 52nd state of the United States in ████
Geography
Decking City is smaller than Texas but larger than many other states.
Districts
Due to how large of a city Decking is, it has been divided into four major districts: Heart, Spade, Diamond, and Clover.
Climate
Weather can be unpredictable in Decking City due to certain unique individuals and beings residing in the city. While there are typically warm and sunny days in the summer, these days can easily switch up due to Frost Byte or other ice based villains. The presense of Strangers can also influence the weather due to some having elemental abilities.
Parks
Decking City has large parks to make up for so much of it being urban land. A select few of these parks have been turned into Stranger sancturaries for some Strangers that were injured during battle but pose no imminent threat to civilains. These Stranger sancturaries are used to study and research where some of the monsters come from. The sancturaries are also used to help the general public learn more about Strangers and deepen understanding for the more docile monsters.

Real Estate
The real estate scene in Decking City is...tricky to say the least. While many dream of living in a city that is constantly bustling with activity and action, many that move to Decking learn that all that action isn't the kindest on the wallet. Many civilians are victim to their homes or property being caught in the crossfire between heroes and villains. And if it's not a battle that causes the damage, it's the newest Stranger arriving in the city and going on a rampage. Due to this, the real estate market is constantly fluctuating. Thankfully, the increase in easily accessible and forgiving insurance has led to upwards growth in new move ins...though that growth is incredibly slow.
Tourism
With Decking City being viewed as "The Hero Capital of the World", millions of people visit the city every year to experience what life is like inside a real life comic book.

Education
Because of it practically being isolated from much of the rest of the world, Decking City works over time to provide the best education to its youngest residents. Thanks to this, Decking City is ranked highly in its education. Alongside schools and colleges, Decking City also has an expansive museum catalogue. Its most popular museums are "The Museum of Strangers" and "Decking City's Hall of Heroes".
Public Safety
What makes Decking City unique is the presence of heroes. Its hero system is vast and always developing to better accomodate both its heroes and civilians. The Decking City Defense Squad (DCDS) is one of the largest independent hero organizations in the country. Over the years, the roster of heroes have increased with over 200 heroes being registered.
Transportation
Trains
There are four major speedy trains, one stationed in each district of Decking City. They can be easily identified by the faces painted on their fronts and backs. These faces are used to deter Strangers from attacking or damaging the trains. This discovery came from Kaijuologists realizing that many Strangers behave similar to animals in the wild in which they mistake false eyes and eyespots for the real things. Thanks to the fast movement of the trains, many Strangers view the trains as large serpentine animals. The recent installations of anti-Stranger sirens add to the illusion of the trains being threats, resulting in many Strangers fleeing from them. Those that don't flee only view the trains as difficult prey not worth the effort of hunting and they ignore them.
Streets and Highways
Traffic is a nightmare due to the frequency of battles in Decking City. Unpredictable property damage has led to many people's original routes getting disrupted, leading to a longer drive and sometimes even a trip being cut short. Because of how much of a hassle it is to get around Decking City's more popular and populated spots, many civilians opt to just use bikes, boards, and even their feet.
Bridges and Tunnels
There is one big ass bridge that is constantly getting it's shit rekt by Strangers and the city keeps fighting over if its even worth having the bridge because no one even likes to use it due to the risk of destruction being so guaranteed.
